J Dauphin jackets are one of a kind, as sustainable as clothing could ever be, each one upcycled and sourced repurposed with the love and devotion of artisans. The base of each jacket is genuine US Military or French workwear originating from the 40's to 70's, originally in blue or green, some since dyed black. We rework them using upcycled vintage Chanel tweeds, French luxury lurex tweeds, Italian silk, Italian chains, and French vintage military buttons from the time of WW1 and WW2. No one jacket will ever look like another. We call our slow fashion The New Vintage, a luxury with history that can never be repeated, made as unique as you.
