The Double Heart Ring features two interlocking hearts outlined in white diamonds, topped with a bow also set in white diamonds, on a 14k gold plated silver shank. The hearts are open at the center, creating a pierced design that lets light through. Made entirely by hand.
The double heart stands for love and devotion, and the bow above binds them, representing fidelity and the binding of two souls. In Victorian tradition, the heart with a bow is a symbol of constancy and affection. White diamonds across both hearts and the bow carry light and clarity, illuminating the form.
J Dauphin was founded in 2006 by the Swedish French designer Johanna Dauphin. She built her foundation as a designer at Fendi and Tod's in Italy, then worked across Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, and her collections have been carried by luxury department stores worldwide. She has made custom pieces for musicians and royalty such as Keith Richards, Def Leppard, Brandi Carlile, Uma Thurman and more. Every piece is made entirely by hand using old school artisanal methods. The work draws on Victorian iconography and ancient symbols and treats jewelry as a modern talisman, contemporary relic, spiritual protection and alignment and healing.
