The Star Sphere Twisted Bangle is handcrafted in 14k gold plated brass and finished with hand painted black enamel. The band is worked as a twisted braided rope and carries a single large dangling sphere charm patterned with stars, set with emeralds. It is a rigid bangle that slides over the hand onto the wrist.
The large sphere is the cosmos, and the emeralds are the stars set across the night sky. Emerald is the stone of the heart and of renewal, long held to reveal what is false and to keep the wearer in the truth.
J Dauphin was founded in 2006 by the Swedish French designer Johanna Dauphin. She built her foundation as a designer at Fendi and Tod's in Italy, then worked across Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, and her collections have been carried by luxury department stores worldwide. She has made custom pieces for musicians and royalty such as Keith Richards, Def Leppard, Brandi Carlile, Uma Thurman and more. Every piece is made entirely by hand using old school artisanal methods. The work draws on Victorian iconography and ancient symbols and treats jewelry as a modern talisman, contemporary relic, spiritual protection, alignment and healing.
