The Truth Cuff is handcrafted in sterling silver with a wide polished band and rolled edges. The word TRUTH is set across the face in black diamonds, each letter pavé set by hand. It is an open cuff that can be gently adjusted to fit.
Truth is emet, spelled with the first letter of the alphabet, the middle letter, and the last, because truth holds the beginning, the middle, and the end together and anything that leaves one of them out is not yet true. Its letters count to four hundred and forty one, which is twenty one squared, and twenty one is the value of the Name given as I Shall Be, so truth is that Name multiplied by itself, the thing that is what it is under any examination. Truth is called the seal, because a seal is what is pressed at the end to confirm that nothing was altered. Falsehood is written with letters that stand on a single point and topple, while every letter of truth stands on a broad base, and this is the whole teaching: what is false needs to be held up, what is true stands on its own. To search for it is the work, and to live by it is the reward.
J Dauphin was founded in 2006 by the Swedish French designer Johanna Dauphin. She built her foundation as a designer at Fendi and Tod's in Italy, then worked across Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, and her collections have been carried by luxury department stores worldwide. She has made custom pieces for musicians and royalty such as Keith Richards, Def Leppard, Brandi Carlile, Uma Thurman and more. Every piece is made entirely by hand using old school artisanal methods. The work draws on Victorian iconography and ancient symbols and treats jewelry as a modern talisman, contemporary relic, spiritual protection, alignment and healing.
