The Seven Heart Choker is handcrafted in 14k gold plated silver. Seven heart pendants are linked in a row along the front of the curb chain. Each heart is set with three white single cut diamonds, 21 diamonds in total, so the hearts run in a line across the front of the neckline. The necklace closes with a lobster clasp and measures 16 inches, 40 cm.
The heart is one of the oldest devotional symbols, carried through Victorian sentimental jewelry as a sign of affection, memory, and protection of the bearer. Set as a row of seven the form gathers a second old meaning, since seven has long stood for completeness and for the seven classical planets, a number read across traditions as a figure of wholeness and inner order.
The white diamond forms deep in the earth under heat and pressure and has been associated since antiquity with clarity, endurance, and protection, worn historically as a stone of steadiness of mind.
J Dauphin was founded in 2006 by the Swedish French designer Johanna Dauphin. She built her foundation as a designer at Fendi and Tod's in Italy, then worked across Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, and her collections have been carried by luxury department stores worldwide. She has made custom pieces for Keith Richards, Def Leppard, Brandi Carlile, Courtney Cox, and Uma Thurman. Every piece is made entirely by hand using old school artisanal methods. The work draws on Victorian iconography and ancient symbols and treats jewelry as spiritual armour, modern talisman, and contemporary relic, made for protection, healing, and spiritual alignment.
