The Heart Hoop Earrings are handcrafted in 14k solid gold. Each thin hoop carries a small solid gold heart charm, star set at its center with a white diamond, and from the base of the heart a single drop falls, set with a ruby. The hoops thread through without a clasp. Sold as a pair.
Ruby is the stone of blood, and blood is where the soul is held, so the drop falling from the heart is love given at cost rather than love merely felt. The white diamond set as a star at the center is the point of light the heart is built to hold.
J Dauphin was founded in 2006 by the Swedish French designer Johanna Dauphin. She built her foundation as a designer at Fendi and Tod's in Italy, then worked across Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, and her collections have been carried by luxury department stores worldwide. She has made custom pieces for musicians and royalty such as Keith Richards, Def Leppard, Brandi Carlile, Uma Thurman and more. Every piece is made entirely by hand using old school artisanal methods. The work draws on Victorian iconography and ancient symbols and treats jewelry as a modern talisman, contemporary relic, spiritual protection, alignment and healing.
