Light Ring White Enamel 14k Gold Plated Wide Word Band Ring

The Light Ring is a wide band in 14k gold plated brass. The word LIGHT runs around the band in raised gold letters against a finely lined ground, each letter framed in hand painted white enamel that picks it out against the gold. The inside of the band carries the J Dauphin monogram.
Light is the first thing called into being and the oldest figure for clarity, truth, and the divine presence, the energy that brings life into form and reveals what is hidden. In Kabbalistic tradition it is the channel through which divine wisdom enters the world, flowing from the highest realms into reality and sustaining all that exists, not only illumination but the very substance of creation. The white enamel framing each letter carries purity and clarity, the soul's reach toward higher consciousness, so the word reads as both a statement and a return to the source of light within.
J Dauphin was founded in 2006 by the Swedish French designer Johanna Dauphin. She built her foundation as a designer at Fendi and Tod's in Italy, then worked across Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, and her collections have been carried by luxury department stores worldwide. She has made custom pieces for musicians and royalty such as Keith Richards, Def Leppard, Brandi Carlile, Uma Thurman and more. Every piece is made entirely by hand using old school artisanal methods. The work draws on Victorian iconography and ancient symbols and treats jewelry as a modern talisman, contemporary relic, spiritual protection and alignment and healing.
