Designer: J DAUPHINThe Lucky Cuff is handcrafted in gold plated brass and finished with hand painted white enamel. The word LUCKY is raised in relief gold lettering across the face of the band, flanked by two horseshoes each set with three blue sapphires, one turned upward and one turned downward, and by two stars each set with five black diamonds, with three small gold stars worked in relief at each end of the cuff. The edges are polished gold.

Nothing arrives by accident and nothing we hold is truly ours, and what comes to a person is only passing through, assigned from the beginning to reach further than their own hands. The two horseshoes are set facing opposite ways because receiving and giving are one movement, the one turned up holding what has been given and the one turned down releasing it, and the flow never stops for the one who understands this. Blue sapphire is the stone of the throne and of clear sight, set three to each horseshoe so that what passes through the hands is seen for what it is. The stars are set in black diamonds because a light that appears dark is light all the same, present already and waiting to be found rather than waited for.
J Dauphin was founded in 2006 by the Swedish French designer Johanna Dauphin. She built her foundation as a designer at Fendi and Tod's in Italy, then worked across Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, and her collections have been carried by luxury department stores worldwide. She has made custom pieces for musicians and royalty such as Keith Richards, Def Leppard, Brandi Carlile, Uma Thurman and more. Every piece is made entirely by hand using old school artisanal methods. The work draws on Victorian iconography and ancient symbols and treats jewelry as a modern talisman, contemporary relic, spiritual protection, alignment and healing.
