The Snake Bracelet, named Sparkle Companion, centers on a gold plated serpent pavé set with thirty white diamonds along the body and ruby eyes. The snake links into a double strand sterling silver chain that closes with a clasp and measures 6.5 inches, 16.5 cm.
The serpent stands for transformation, hidden knowledge, and the cycle of death and rebirth, the snake that sheds its skin to renew itself, worn in Victorian jewelry as a sign of eternal love and protection.
J Dauphin was founded in 2006 by the Swedish French designer Johanna Dauphin. She built her foundation as a designer at Fendi and Tod's in Italy, then worked across Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, and her collections have been carried by luxury department stores worldwide. She has made custom pieces for musicians and royalty such as Keith Richards, Def Leppard, Brandi Carlile, Uma Thurman and more. Every piece is made entirely by hand using old school artisanal methods. The work draws on Victorian iconography and ancient symbols and treats jewelry as a modern talisman, contemporary relic, spiritual protection and alignment and healing.
