All orders shipped to the United States and all other international countries (outside the EU) may be subject to local customs duties, import tariffs, and taxes upon arrival in the destination country.

All international deliveries are shipped on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis. All applicable customs fees, import duties, clearance charges, and local sales taxes remain the sole responsibility of the customer.
J DAUPHIN is not responsible for any duties, taxes, or fees levied by foreign governments or carriers, and we will not under any circumstances refund customs fees or duties.
DELIVERY
Orders may take 48 hours to process. Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email confirming your order has shipped. Shipping fees and timing begin when you receive the shipping confirmation email. Additional validation may be required for some orders and can delay delivery.
Signatures are required for items over $500. Please note that for items $500 or under, a signature may still be required at the carrier's discretion. To track your order, please refer to your shipping confirmation email for the tracking number.

Visit the website of the designated carrier; your carrier may vary depending on the shipping service and destination. Using the tracking number provided in your confirmation email, you will be able to monitor your shipment. If you encounter any issues, feel free to contact us via email.
EXPRESS DELIVERY
Fee: $50. Delivery Timing: Orders placed after 2 pm ET will be processed the next business day. Orders placed between 12 pm ET on Friday and 3 pm ET on Sunday will be processed on Monday. If an order is placed after these times, it will be processed the following business day. Cut-off times may vary slightly depending on the sourcing location.
Exceptions: Orders placed after the cut-off or on holidays will be processed the following business day. Certain ZIP codes are not eligible for this service. Additional validation may be required for all orders and can delay delivery.

Fee: Complimentary for all orders. Delivery Timing: 3-7 business days from the time you receive the shipping confirmation email.
Exceptions: If a Standard Delivery order is placed over the weekend, the earliest it will ship is Monday. Additional validation may be required for all orders and can delay delivery.
EXCHANGE & RETURNS
Returns and exchanges are not accepted unless specifically approved in writing at the time of purchase or authorized under our warranty policy for defective items; otherwise, all sales are final.
All made-to-order pieces, special orders in gold, personal sizes, bespoke commissions, personalized items, or custom-altered vintage items are non-returnable and non-refundable.
In the event a return is pre-approved in writing, please submit an email request to info@jdauphin.com. Items must be packed securely in their original packaging with the receipt, with previous shipping labels fully covered, and dropped off using UPS, FedEx, or DHL. Returns via other carriers cannot be accepted.
All return shipping costs, customs fees, and associated duties remain the responsibility of the customer. J DAUPHIN is not responsible for lost packages, cannot reimburse for items lost during transit, and will not under any circumstances refund customs fees or duties.

CUSTOM ORDER
J DAUPHIN develops custom orders and personalization for a selection of vintage jackets and items. Each project is conceived individually and may involve bespoke construction, vintage or archival sourcing, structural alterations, or specific finishes. All custom work is considered on a case-by-case basis and undertaken at the sole discretion of the brand.
SPECIAL COLLABORATIONS
Creative collaborations and special commissions are developed through direct contact. Requests are reviewed individually with consideration given to vision, context, and alignment. In-person appointments may be offered for select projects where appropriate, depending on the nature and scope of the work.
The brand works with stylists on private commissions for clients, public figures, and special projects. All stylist collaborations are handled discreetly, and one-of-a-kind pieces may be created for public appearances and performances.
Capsule collections are developed in collaboration with a small number of partners, defined by a clear concept, limited production, and creative alignment. Editorial requests are considered selectively; inquiries should include publication details, creative direction, and intended use. Retail and stockist relationships are highly selective, with inquiries reviewed based on brand positioning, context, and long-term alignment.
PRODUCT CARE
Considerate care of your jewelry will preserve its beauty over time. Each material requires specific treatment. Gold and solid silver are naturally resilient materials, yet all jewelry benefits from attentive handling. Gold-plated pieces are especially sensitive and require particular care, as the plated surface is more delicate than solid metal. Many of our pieces also feature hand-painted enamel and natural gemstones, which require gentle treatment to maintain their color, brilliance, and integrity.
To maintain your jewelry’s finish and longevity, always keep your pieces dry. Moisture, humidity, and prolonged exposure to water can cause silver to oxidize and may cause gold plating to fade, discolor, or wear down more quickly. Humid environments can significantly shorten the lifespan of gold-plated jewelry and may affect enamel surfaces and certain gemstones. Store your pieces in a dry place, ideally in a soft pouch or jewelry box, away from moisture, direct air exposure, and direct sunlight.
Avoid wearing your jewelry in the shower, bath, swimming pool, or sauna. Do not wash your hands while wearing gold-plated jewelry. Water, soap and steam gradually weaken gold plating, can dull enamel and gemstones.
Avoid direct contact with perfume, body lotion, oils, hairspray, sunscreen, and household cleaning products. Always apply cosmetics and fragrance before putting on your jewelry. Chemicals and alcohol-based products can damage gold plating, dull gemstones, and cause discoloration or deterioration of enamel.
Prolonged exposure to strong sunlight and heat may alter the color and finish of gold plating, enamel, and certain gemstones over time.
Remember to take off yor jewelry before you go to sleep.
Gold-plated jewelry requires particular attention. Gold plating is a fine layer of gold applied over silver or brass and should be handled gently. Gold-plated pieces must not be polished, as polishing will gradually remove the plated layer. Do not use silver polish, polishing cloths intended for silver, or abrasive materials on gold-plated jewelry. After wearing, gently wipe the piece with a soft, dry cloth to remove oils and moisture before storing.
Solid silver may naturally oxidize over time. This is a normal reaction to air and humidity. To restore its shine, use a high-quality silver polishing cloth or a silver polish specifically designed for sterling silver. Follow the product instructions carefully and avoid excessive polishing.
Enamel is hand-painted and should be treated with care. Avoid impact, pressure, or sharp blows, as enamel can chip or crack. Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth only.
Gemstones vary in hardness and sensitivity. Protect them from impact and avoid exposure to chemicals and extreme temperature changes. Handle gemstone pieces with care to prevent scratching or loosening of settings.
