The Truth Ring is a band in antiqued silver inscribed with the word TRUTH in hand painted black enamel, the dark enamel set into the lettering against the aged silver. It is worn as a daily band on the hand.
In Kabbalah, truth, Emet, is held as the structure of divine reality, the force that sustains creation and holds all things in their rightful place. It is taken to be constant and unchanging, formed from the first, middle, and final letters of the Hebrew alphabet so that it spans the beginning, the middle, and the end. Inscribed on the band it stands as a mark of inner knowing carried on the hand.
J Dauphin was founded in 2006 by the Swedish French designer Johanna Dauphin. She built her foundation as a designer at Fendi and Tod's in Italy, then worked across Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, and her collections have been carried by luxury department stores worldwide. She has made custom pieces for musicians and royalty such as Keith Richards, Def Leppard, Brandi Carlile, Uma Thurman and more. Every piece is made entirely by hand using old school artisanal methods. The work draws on Victorian iconography and ancient symbols and treats jewelry as a modern talisman, contemporary relic, spiritual protection and alignment and healing.
