Aquamarine Ruby Snake Ring Gold Serpent
Aquamarine Ruby Snake Ring Gold Serpent
Double Snake Ring Aquamarine Ruby Eyes Gold
Designer: J DAUPHIN
Two entwined serpents in 14k gold plated brass, coiled and knotted around the finger, the two heads meeting at the top. One head is set with a marquise aquamarine eye and the other with a marquise ruby eye.
The serpent stands for transformation and renewal, shedding its skin the way we shed what no longer serves us. Two serpents wound together carry that meaning doubled, an old sign of union and of two opposing forces held in balance. The aquamarine holds calm and clear feeling, the ruby courage and vital heat, so the two heads set cool against warm carry both sides at once.
J Dauphin was founded in 2006 by the Swedish French designer Johanna Dauphin. She built her foundation as a designer at Fendi and Tod's in Italy, then worked across Paris, New York, and Los Angeles. A multiple award winning designer highly recognised as an accessory and jewelry designer, her work has been featured in Vogue, W Magazine, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, and Elle across numerous countries, and carried by the world's most prestigious luxury stores including Lane Crawford, Bergdorf Goodman, H Lorenzo, United Arrows, Isetan, Le Bon Marché, Matches, and Harvey Nichols. She has made custom pieces for musicians and royalty such as Keith Richards, Def Leppard, Brandi Carlile, Uma Thurman and more.
