Diamond collar necklace in gold plated brass, a thin rigid open neck band ending at the front in two blue enamel spheres, each set with white diamonds in gold stars. It sits close at the throat as an open collar with the opening at the front.
The two spheres are small night skies held at the throat, blue scattered with stars, the dark that is not empty but full of hidden light. The star is the sign of guidance, and the white diamonds set into it stand for clarity, light kept in the dark ground.
J Dauphin was founded in 2006 by Swedish French designer Johanna Dauphin, who previously worked at Fendi and Tod's in Italy. J Dauphin has had creative offices in Paris, New York, and Los Angeles. Johanna Dauphin is a multiple award winning accessory and jewelry designer. Her jewelry, accessories, and celebrated repurposed vintage jackets are all made by artisanal methods, often incorporating ancient symbols, and she treats jewelry as modern talismans for empowerment, protection, alignment, and healing.
