Coiled Snake Ring Ruby Eyes Wrap Gold
Designer: J DAUPHIN
A single serpent in gold plated silver coiled several times around the finger, its body worked in raised horizontal segments like a wrap, the head and tail meeting at the front. The head is set with ruby eyes.
The serpent stands for transformation and renewal, shedding its skin the way we shed what no longer serves us. Coiled around the finger it is an old sign of protection kept close and of eternity, the body with no beginning or end. The rubies at the eyes stand for vitality and courage.
J Dauphin was founded in 2006 by the Swedish French designer Johanna Dauphin. She built her foundation as a designer at Fendi and Tod's in Italy, then worked across Paris, New York, and Los Angeles.
